New Podcast Episode and a New Home

Hi there,

Welcome to Our New Home!

I am excited to share our new community platform with you. You may notice this newsletter looks a little different, and it is! But where it lives is where the action is. We now have everything in one place, our podcast all the newsletters and recipes (still in the works) and more to come, think cooking videos with our hosts and podcast guests etc. Take some time to explore using the toolbar (if viewing in your web browser) or here. We are still putting the finishing touches on this community platform and I want to say a big thank you to yourtechgal.com Cynthia Samanian who built this space for us.

A Seamless Experience

Inmykitchen.ca is still our website and you can go between the two platforms easily. Only people subscribed here will have access to all these resources (you are automatically subscribed). Speaking of resources do you remember my handy travel planner tool, and fabulous culinary tips from our hosts? They both live here now under “resources”

How It All Began

This idea started percolating close to 2.5 years ago on a trip to New Zealand. My cousin Kylie and I were chatting about our work. When I told Kylie I was struggling with what post COVID IMK would look like, Kylie suggested a community style platform similar to a culinary site she follows. At this point I had not started the podcast and I wasn’t sure I could offer enough interesting content (a little imposter syndrome is always lurking over my shoulder) But fast forward to today and thanks to Cynthia who brought the idea forward again, here we are.
